Join Echo Women’s Choir

Sessions

We have two terms per year: September to December and January to May, with new repertoire and a closing concert in each term. New members are welcome to join in either September or January. We take a break during the summer months.

Rehearsals

Every Tuesday, 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the Church of Holy Trinity (near the Eaton Centre). Additional rehearsals as needed. Childcare is available.
Singers are asked to arrive at 6:50 so that everybody can get ready by the time the rehearsal starts.

Events

We have two main concerts at the close of each term (early December and mid-May). We have additional fundraising events in different parts of Toronto, which have included special concerts, jazz nights, and dances.

We also perform regularly at grassroots events in collaboration with other Toronto organizations.

Fees

We ask members to contribute $175 for each session. This money goes towards:

• the cost of music
• honorariums for the Directors and guest artists
• commissioning music
• concert hall rental
• and other expenses

Singers who can not afford to pay this fee will NOT be turned away and will be welcome to contribute to ECHO's fundraising in other ways!
